Memory Loss

One of the first signs of dementia is short term memory loss. Alzheimer's is the most common form of dementia.

I want to make two points here. First, short term memory loss is hard to detect in the early stages of dementia.

Second, long term memory, memories of information stored long ago, still resides in the brain. If you try patiently you can still bring this information out, and it is sometimes fascinating.
